The Bienestar Women's Pension program, a significant initiative aimed at supporting women aged 60 to 64, is set to commence its distribution from October 1 to 31, 2025. This initiative is part of the social policies implemented by the Federal Government and falls under the theme "2025, Year of the Indigenous Woman."

The program's objective is to provide security and dignity to vulnerable women and indigenous communities, consolidating another step towards a dignified, secure life with access to basic rights for those who need it most. Beneficiaries can receive their pension directly through the Banco del Bienestar without intermediaries.

To stay updated on the payment schedule and eligible recipients, the following steps are recommended:

  1. Visit the official Bienestar portal: Navigate to the official Bienestar website (gob.mx/bienestar) to access the latest information on payment cycles and eligible individuals.
  2. Contact the program directly: If possible, reach out to the program directly via phone or email to obtain specific information regarding your situation.
  3. Follow social media and official news sources: Keep up with the social media channels and official news sources of the program to receive updates on payments and completed transactions.
  4. Check your digital or personal account: Review your digital account or personal account to see if a payment has been processed.

Registered women will also receive an SMS message on their mobile phone with the exact date, time, and place to pick up their card. The card location module is available on the official portal (gob.mx/bienestar) for beneficiaries to verify their appointment.

The Ministry of Welfare has emphasised the importance of all registered women presenting the required documentation and attending their appointment punctually. The Mexican Government seeks to ensure that no woman aged 60 to 64 is excluded from this support. The Bienestar Women's Pension program is a support with a gender perspective, aiming to recognise the effort of thousands of women who have supported their families through domestic and care work.
