Electric vehicle pricing for the Cupra Tavascan reveals figures up to £61,000 within the UK market.
New Electric Cupra Tavascan SUV to Debut in the UK on September 11
The much-anticipated Cupra Tavascan SUV Concept will make its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show, marking the next step in the CUPRA electrification journey. The flagship electric vehicle (EV) SUV is set to hit UK roads on September 11, with prices ranging up to £61,000.
The Tavascan is a distinctive offering in the SUV market, intended to compete with vehicles like the VW Group siblings, Tesla Model Y, and other alternatives. Unlike other VW Group SUVs, the Tavascan boasts an individual design, setting it apart in the crowded market.
The Tavascan is available in four versions: V1, V2, VZ1, and VZ2. The V1 and V2 versions come with a single motor, offering 286bhp, a 77kWh battery, and a range of up to 352 miles with a 0-62mph time of 6.8 seconds. The VZ1 and VZ2 versions use the same battery but have an additional motor for 335bhp, a 0-62mph time of 5.5 seconds, and a range of 320 miles.
The new electric Cupra Tavascan has undergone rigorous safety testing, scoring the maximum five stars in the latest Euro NCAP safety tests, alongside the new MG HS. This impressive safety rating reinforces CUPRA's commitment to safety and quality.
Marcus Gossen, CUPRA UK, expressed his excitement about the Tavascan's release in the UK, stating, "The Tavascan's release in the UK marks the culmination of years of hard work, innovation, and design." The Tavascan has been five years in development since its Concept version was first seen in 2019.
The Tavascan's prices start from £47,340 for the V1, £53,835 for the V2, £55,935 for the VZ1, and £60,835 for the VZ2. This electric performance SUV is the latest offering from Seat's now standalone Cupra brand, which is gaining attention and boosting sales.
It's worth noting that the latest Euro NCAP safety test results include cars based on already existing models, such as the Ford Tourneo Courier, which received only 3 Stars. The Tavascan's impressive safety rating underscores the advancements being made in the automotive industry.
The Electric Cupra Tavascan Coupe SUV is revealed as Cupra's take on the Volkswagen ID.5, offering a unique and distinctive alternative in the EV SUV market. With its powerful EV powertrain, individual design, and impressive safety rating, the Tavascan is poised to make a significant impact in the UK market when it launches on September 11.
