New Android Tablet PC Debuts at IFA Show: PocketBook IQ
Electronic reading devices and a tablet from Pocketbook are set to be displayed at the IFA event.
Foxconn Technology has unveiled a new addition to their lineup of e-readers and tablet PCs at the IFA show in Germany. The company has presented the first Android tablet PC named PocketBook IQ.
The PocketBook IQ is an international tablet, boasting a 7-inch TFT Color Touch screen, WI-FI, and Bluetooth connectivity. Each model of the PocketBook IQ runs on a Linux-based operating system and features an audio book function.
However, the tablet does not provide any information about 3G connectivity, and the screen size specifications are not mentioned. The PocketBook IQ also includes a note-taking feature and supports multiple formats, including PDF and ePub.
The PocketBook IQ's internal dictionary includes around 17 different languages, but the operating system of the device is not specified. The tablet does not have a built-in G sensor for switching between horizontal and landscape modes, unlike some of the other models showcased at the IFA show.
