Embracing the New Horizon
The architectural firm BAR Architekten has announced plans for an exhibition related to the Lux Artery project in Hürth-Hermülheim. The exhibition, set to be held before the street's construction, will offer the public a sneak peek into the project's design and material choices.
The exhibition, which will be located on a municipal area at Bödikerstraße, rear side of Bonnstraße 183, will feature original materials on a reduced scale to illustrate the planned bike lane and pedestrian areas. The sidewalks, as revealed, will be made of gray granite, with paving stones in beige and gray tones. Seating elements will be made of concrete.
However, the Lux Artery project does not provide a specific timeline for its commencement or completion. Similarly, the exact location of the model area for public viewing is not yet specified.
The exhibition will serve as a coordination platform for materials, laying method, and colour scheme for the street design. It will be publicly accessible, allowing residents and visitors to gain a better understanding of the project's vision.
Despite the excitement surrounding the Lux Artery project, the architectural and design features beyond the materials have not been specified in detail. The project does not mention any unique architectural or design elements that set it apart from other street designs.
The Lux Artery project is set to shape the future design of Hürth-Hermülheim, with the exhibition offering a glimpse into the changes that are to come. The model area for public viewing will be available from late February, giving everyone a chance to get a closer look at the project's plans.
