Car Accident on Landesstraße 111 in Nordsteimke, Wolfsburg

On the morning of June 15, 2025, a serious car accident occurred on County Road 111 in Nordsteimke, Wolfsburg. According to the Wolfsburg Police, the accident happened at around 4:03 AM near the turnoff to Waldhof.

The accident involved a 17-year-old driver who was driving alone. The car veered off the road a few meters before the turnoff to Waldhof, colliding with a guardrail, crossing a ditch and a field, and finally coming to a stop at a pine tree.

The car's integrated eCall system triggered an emergency call, alerting authorities to the incident. The severely injured driver was immediately attended to by the professional fire department and was taken to the Wolfsburg clinic by ambulance.

The accident resulted in the closure of County Road 111 for several hours as the police conducted the accident investigation and vehicle recovery. The car was traveling from Barnstorf towards the roundabout at Hehlingen, L 290, L322 at the time of the accident.
