The city of Gießen is gearing up for a special event, as the Seniorinnen and Senioren Oktoberfest has been announced for September 13, 2025, at the Congress Hall Giessen.

Social Affairs Commissioner Francisco Arman has extended a warm invitation to all Giessen residents aged 60 and above to attend this festive occasion. The event will kick off at 2:00 PM, with doors opening at 1:00 PM.

For those interested in attending, a presale for tickets will be held on September 9th at Frau Naumann's office in the Seniorenbüro (Room 132, 2nd floor) from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM. Tickets can also be purchased at the box office on the day of the event.

Additionally, tickets can be purchased in advance on September 2nd, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the town hall in front of the Women's and Equal Opportunities Office (Room 120, ground floor).

Pretzels and Obazda will be served during the break, included in the entrance fee of 8.00 €, including VAT.
