Engaging Learning Experience at Playhouse: Project Thursday's Fun-Filled Education Venture

In October and November of 2025, the Friedrichshafen City Library (Stadtbibliothek Friedrichshafen) is hosting a series of educational events at the Games House, focusing on the intersection of play and attitude. These events, which coincide with the Friedrichshafen Days of Democracy and the "Make Yourself Strong" days, are free and open to school classes and groups from the Bodensee region.

The events take place on Thursdays, with the mornings already fully booked. Project Thursday, as the series is called, runs from 9 to 11 am and focuses on creative projects and team-building activities. The theme of these events revolves around environmental awareness, creativity, and sustainability.

One of the main highlights of the events is the "Happy Earth" theme, which includes team-building games to solve challenges playfully and strengthen team spirit. Another key aspect is the "Democracy Game", where children can experience firsthand how decisions are made and what participation means. On certain Thursdays, an additional theme may be "Happy Earth - Upcycling and Sustainability Projects for a Better Future".

The events are designed to make democracy and children's rights tangible and promote understanding of these important topics. They are guided by the experienced pedagogues of the Games House and Games Bus. The location for these events is the Games House, although no specific location information has been provided for school classes and groups.

The age range for participants is 6 to 13 years old. The registration form for these events can be found online at www.spielehaus.our website/projekt-donnerstag. On October 2nd and November 20th, these events will coincide with the Friedrichshafen Days of Democracy and the "Make Yourself Strong" days, respectively.

These events offer experiential learning opportunities for school classes and groups, providing a unique and engaging way to explore the topics of democracy and children's rights.
