Fontainebleau Las Vegas Reworks Rewards Program for Slots PlayersCuts coin requirement for Play Point to $2.50 from $5
The iconic Fontainebleau Las Vegas went public with significant changes to its rewards program on June 3, 2025, claiming it's now the most rewarding on the Las Vegas Strip for slots enthusiasts.
The revamped Fontainebleau Rewards program will reward gamblers with a Play Point for each $2.50 of coin inserted into a gaming machine, down from the previous $5 requirement. In casino land, this adjusted ratio puts the North Strip gaming establishment ahead of the pack in terms of earned visible slot play, as per the operator's announcement.
The announcement came hand-in-hand with the introduction of a new program titled Fontainebleau Cash Back. The seasonal redemption program ensures members can cash in their earned points throughout the year. For every 5,000 Play Points amassed on slots, members will receive a cool $20 in cash, redeemable at the casino cage. The initiative kicks off in December 2025, according to the press release.
The press pack seems to skirt over video poker, although most of the casino loyalty programs are sympathetic to the needs of pro-video poker gamers.
A Glimpse at Fontainebleau's Revival
Casino rewards programs typically function as both powerful tools for attracting new customers and retaining existing ones. By offering a more streamlined, more rewarding loyalty program, operators hope to bolster their revenues and profits.
Case in point: Fontainebleau, a venue that's been battling headwinds since its opening in 2023. The property faces a number of challenges, with last week's reports hinting at the possible termination of as many as 60 table game dealers.
The North Strip area of Las Vegas has a reputation for putting a wrench in operators' plans, and Fontainebleau's struggles are amplified by its proximity to competition. Neighbors like Resorts World and Wynn and Encore further add to the pressure. Among upscale North Strip casino hotels, the Wynn Resort properties are the only ones to have achieved long-term success.
Seems like the revamped loyalty program could play a crucial role in attracting new visitors to Fontainebleau. The newly redesigned rewards scheme consists of four tiers: Bleau, Silver, Gold, and Royal.

- Waived resort fees for Gold and Royal members.
The time frame for activity has also received a boost:
