On Monday evening, August 18, 2025, several political rallies took place in the northern part of Nuremberg. One of the rallies, which started around 7:00 PM, marched through the city, ending in the Archivpark around 9:00 PM.

During this march, 16 individuals were forced out of the bike lane on Spittlertorgraben street by the police. The search results do not provide the names or identities of these individuals, nor information about any investigations against them under the Assembly Act. Proceedings for violating the assembly law were initiated against the 16 people.

Meanwhile, around 7:45 PM, a separate rally of approximately 30 people occurred on the Spittlertorgraben road near Fürther Tor. The police, who considered this a rally, were able to prevent attempts to block the road, sometimes using direct force, and 16 people from this rally were carried off the road by the police.

Throughout the march, counter-protesters repeatedly tried to enter the route or block it. Barriers were set up to separate participants from different political factions and to prevent direct confrontation between the protesters. Up to 250 counter-protesters marched on an alternative route to the area of Rollnerstraße.

In the Pilotystraße, several people formed a sit-in on the road, which the march participants were able to bypass. Approximately 90 people gathered in the Archivpark for a rally under the motto "Never silent again - Together for Germany!".

The Nuremberg East Police Inspectorate, Central Deployment Police Inspectorate Middle Franconia, Bavarian Rapid Deployment Police, Nuremberg Traffic Police, and Nuremberg Criminal Police were deployed to manage the rallies.
