New Versions of Union Glashütte's Belisar Chronograph Moon Phase Unveiled

Union Glashütte, a renowned German watchmaker, has announced the introduction of two new versions of their popular Belisar Chronograph Moon Phase model. The new timepieces, set to be available in 2025, are a delightful addition to the brand's collection.

Both new versions of the Belisar Chronograph Moon Phase boast a deep blue dial with a sunburst finish, adding a touch of elegance and sophistication. The Moon Phase display at six o'clock showcases a golden celestial motif against a dark blue background, further enhancing the watch's aesthetic appeal.

The Belisar Chronograph Moon Phase maintains its classic 42mm case diameter and 14.8mm height. The classic stainless steel version, priced at 3,600 euros, and the bi-color variant with rose gold elements, priced at 7,500 euros, offer a range of options to suit different preferences and budgets.

The bi-color version features massive rose gold sides and a rose gold bezel, adding a luxurious touch to the watch. Conversely, the classic version is made entirely of stainless steel, maintaining the timeless appeal of the original design.

The new versions of the Belisar Chronograph Moon Phase are powered by the automatic caliber UNG-25.S1. The movement, assembled and regulated in Glashütte, is based on the Valjoux 7751 but has been significantly modernized. A silicon spiral in the movement makes it more resistant to magnetic fields, ensuring the watch's accuracy in various environments.

The new Belisar Chronograph Moon Phase watches are water-resistant to 10 bar (100 meters), making them suitable for everyday wear. They are further protected by a domed, anti-reflective sapphire crystal.

Completing the watch are handcrafted, blue leather straps with crocodile embossing. The new versions of the Belisar Chronograph Moon Phase are available in specialized retail stores.

First introduced in 2017, the Union Glashütte Belisar Chronograph Moon Phase has been a popular model in the brand's collection. The new variants retain the original's displays for the day of the week, month, and date, while adding the Moon Phase complication.

With their stunning design, high-quality craftsmanship, and innovative features, the new versions of the Belisar Chronograph Moon Phase are sure to captivate watch enthusiasts. The watches will be available for purchase starting in 2025.
