On the evening of August 23, a thrilling chase ensued in the city of Gummersbach, Germany. The incident began when a moped was stolen from a parking lot in Bergneustadt-Wiedenstadt by two individuals who hot-wired it.
The stolen moped was later spotted on Gummersbacher Street around 1:18 AM, leading to a high-speed chase. The chase ended on the grounds of an automobile dealership, where the fleeing individuals abandoned the moped with the engine still running.
