Escaped Police Custody with Stolen Scooter
On the evening of August 23, a thrilling chase ensued in the city of Gummersbach, Germany. The incident began when a moped was stolen from a parking lot in Bergneustadt-Wiedenstadt by two individuals who hot-wired it.
The stolen moped was later spotted on Gummersbacher Street around 1:18 AM, leading to a high-speed chase. The chase ended on the grounds of an automobile dealership, where the fleeing individuals abandoned the moped with the engine still running. However, the driver of the moped managed to escape before police could apprehend them.
