European Commission initiates a novel plan for the advancement and growth of the automotive sector within the European Union.

In a press release transmitted by the Warendorf Police and originating from news aktuell, the local authorities have announced a series of safety tips sessions for e-bikes, bicycles, and e-scooters.

The sessions will provide valuable advice on the rule-compliant handling of these vehicles, with colleagues from the traffic accident prevention department leading the tips. The first session will take place at Warendorf's Market Square, near the Town Hall Height, on Thursday, 14.08.2025, from 13:30 to 16:30.

Another session will be held at Telgte's Weekly Market on Tuesday, 19.08.2025, from 14:00 to 18:00. The safety tips session at Ahlen, Sattelfest, Zeche Ahlen is scheduled for Sunday, 24.08.2025, from 12:00 to 17:00.

It's important to note that these sessions are in addition to the ones previously announced at Warendorf's Market Square and Telgte's Weekly Market.

The sessions aim to address the unique safety concerns associated with e-bikes, which often reach higher speeds than other bikes. This requires special attention from both car drivers and e-bike riders.

In the coming weeks, employees of the traffic accident prevention service in Warendorf will also visit local schools, community centers, and senior citizen clubs to provide important tips for safe riding of e-bikes, bicycles, and e-scooters in traffic.

The safety tips will be available at information stands in the coming weeks, and the Warendorf Police will be providing these at various locations across the district.
