Excited attendees at the second philanthropic performance by the "upbeat music academy" in Düsseldorf
On Friday, March 14, the Positive Music School held a charity concert at the Franz von Sales Church on Siegburger Street. Andrey and Nikolay Kasakov, organisers of the event, put together a memorable evening filled with music and goodwill.
The concert was a repeat performance of last year's successful event, featuring a variety of music genres, including film music, jazz, soul, rhythm and blues, and pop. The saxophone was one of the instruments performed during the concert, adding a melodious touch to the evening.
Sarah Bouwers served as the host for the evening, introducing the musicians and the "ConTact" band led by Nikolay Kasakov. The concert was free for the guests, and donations were requested for the Förderverein Löwensstern, a non-profit association for children with cancer at the University Hospital Düsseldorf.
A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the mini-robot "Avatar". This innovative device helps children with cancer overcome social isolation by enabling participation in lessons and virtual contact with friends during their period of isolation.
The Positive Music School, known for its social commitment, has been performing at various locations, including the Volksgarten, city center, and events like the zakk street festival. The purpose of this concert was to raise funds for children with cancer, and it certainly achieved that goal through the power of music and the generosity of its audience.
