Expanded Salzburg Festivity Offering Ample Entertainment
The Salzburg Festival, renowned as one of the world's most important opera, theater, and concert events, has concluded its summer season with impressive results. The final report reveals high revenues, a 98.4% attendance rate, and a record-breaking number of visitors.
Held across multiple countries, this year's festival attracted visitors from 88 different nations, with a total of 256,600 attendees. All shows were sold out, and the youth program, in particular, saw a significant turnout of 256,600 visitors.
The revenue generated by the festival covers a substantial portion of the total budget, which is supplemented by public funds and sponsors. The total revenue for this summer reached approximately €31 million gross.
One of the festival's highlights was the outdoor production of "Jedermann," which took place on the Domplatz. All 15 performances were sold out, demonstrating the public's enthusiasm for this iconic event.
