Expansion of Executive Creative Leadership Team at Campbell Ewald

Campbell Ewald, a renowned Detroit-based advertising agency, is shaking up its executive creative team with a series of appointments and promotions. The new hires and promotions reflect the agency's fresh creative leadership making their mark.

The agency is expanding its executive creative team with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including a coffee farmer, a busy dad, a former pediatric phlebotomist who was also a dancer at Prince's nightclub, and professionals with experience in marketing and advertising.

Silmo Bonomi and Clarence Bradley joined Campbell Ewald as co-Chief Creative Officers last September. Their tenure has marked a new chapter for the agency, and now, they are making their first senior creative hires since their arrival.

David Mackereth, Alejandro Ortiz, and Nathalia Resende were hired as executive creative directors. All three had prior experience in marketing and advertising before joining Campbell Ewald. The coffee farmer and the busy dad, however, are joining the team without prior advertising experience.

The former pediatric phlebotomist who was also a dancer at Prince's nightclub is another unconventional addition to the team. Despite having no previous advertising experience, they are joining Campbell Ewald's executive creative team.

In addition to the new hires, Campbell Ewald is promoting a longtime agency veteran. Laura Rogers has been promoted to the newly created role of executive director, branded content within Campbell Ewald. She previously held the position of group creative director.

Campbell Ewald is also promoting another longtime agency veteran to a new position. The details of this promotion are yet to be disclosed.

These moves by Campbell Ewald demonstrate a commitment to diversity and unconventionality in their executive creative team, signalling a new era for the Detroit-based agency.
