Engie Germany Extends Contract for Technical Building Management at Mercedes-Benz Museum
Engie Germany has secured a contract extension for technical building management and support in event management at the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart. The contract, which runs until the end of July, includes technical services for all public and non-public areas of the museum building, as well as designated kitchen areas and technical outdoor facilities.
Since 2018, Engie Germany has been responsible for technical building management at the Mercedes-Benz Museum, the Mercedes-Benz Center, the confectionery building, the kitchen building, and all other facilities on the property. The company has also been providing technical services for the adjacent Mercedes-Benz Center since the same year.
Alexander HΓ€fele, Head of Facility Management in the Facility Solutions department at the Engie branch in Stuttgart, expressed his pride in contributing to the success of the Mercedes-Benz Museum through seamless technical operation and brand-appropriate appearance of the building and technical outdoor facilities.
The Mercedes-Benz Museum, a major attraction for many years, spans over 16,500 square meters of exhibition space and features around 160 vehicles and over 1,500 exhibits. In addition to its role as a museum, the building is also used as a venue for various events.
The contract also includes technical services for the connecting building with the shop, the catering area, and all other facilities on the site. Technical outdoor facilities are also included in the scope of the contract.
With approximately 800,000 visitors per year, the Mercedes-Benz Museum is an important cultural destination in Stuttgart. Engie Germany is committed to ensuring that the museum continues to operate smoothly and efficiently, providing a memorable experience for all its visitors.
