In the heart of Helsinki, on the picturesque island of Suomenlinna, a converted factory now houses an inspiring Finnish home. This home, beautifully simple and bathed in natural light, serves as a testament to the beauty and versatility of industrial spaces when transformed into living spaces.

The home, primarily white with accents of wood and natural materials, boasts large windows that offer stunning views of the Baltic Sea. The living room, seamlessly blending with the sauna, features a surprise element: a hidden sauna, a nod to Finnish tradition.

Maiju Saha, a Finnish designer, captures the home's charm through her photography. The photography for this article is shared with kind permission by Maiju Saha.

The Finnish home's design philosophy is a celebration of simplicity and natural materials, mirroring the design philosophy of the Swedish homes featured in the article. One such home is a light Swedish Villa bathed in soft greens, while another is a Beautiful Swedish Home in Beige and Klein Blue.

The article also discusses decorating with blue and green colors, a trend that finds a perfect harmony in the Finnish home's outdoor space, which includes a small garden and a terrace.

Meanwhile, in Gothenburg, another apartment is adorned with floral dreams, creating a vibrant contrast to the Finnish home's minimalist design.

The Finnish home's conversion from an old factory is a reminder of the potential that lies in repurposing industrial spaces. Its transformation into a modern haven is a testament to the power of creativity and design.
