Exploring the city's past through photographs - Updated tours scheduled for viewing historical murals
In the heart of Gütersloh, the city's anniversary celebrations continue to captivate residents and visitors alike. The Cultural Affairs Department of the City of Gütersloh, in collaboration with Gütersloh Marketing (gtm), has announced three new tour dates for the popular "City History in Pictures" tours.
These tours, which started on July 25th, have been a hit since their inception. Led by the Berlin artist duo, David Mannstein and Maria Vill, the tours showcase the large-format artworks that have been transforming special buildings in Gütersloh since late July.
The new tour dates are as follows: September 17 at 6 PM, October 17 at 5 PM, and October 19 at 3 PM. All tours begin at the main entrance of the Gütersloh City Library (Blessenstraße 1).
Tickets for the tours cost 8 euros per person (reduced 6 euros) and are available at the gtm Tourist Information (Berliner Straße 63) or online at www.reservix.de. For those interested in private tours, contact [email protected].

This project, initiated by the Cultural Affairs Department of the City of Gütersloh, is a testament to the city's commitment to art and culture. As we move towards October, when the exhibition is set to conclude, these tours offer a unique opportunity to experience the transformative power of art in Gütersloh.
