Fabletics partners with Malbon Golf founders on a new initiative
Fabletics, the activewear brand co-founded by Don Ressler, has partnered with Stephen and Erica Malbon, the creative minds behind Malbon Golf, to launch a unique, sporty, and fashion-forward streetwear collection. The limited-edition collaboration, titled "Stephen and Erica Malbon for Fabletics," includes a 27-piece capsule collection designed to blend performance and fashion, intended to be worn both on and off the golf course.
The collection, available in sizes XXS to 4X for women and XS-XXL for men, features new silhouettes for Fabletics such as a minidress with built-in shorts and a women's windbreaker. The men's offering includes pull-on pants and shorts made from Fabletics' spillproof Don RepelKnit fabric, as well as a lightweight crepe button-up shirt and pullover tops.
Illustrator Brandon Campbell has added print details to the collection, designed to echo traditional golf terrains. Some pieces feature pelicans and sandpipers to denote coastal regions, while other items feature deer or landscapes designed to reflect desert and pine regions. The color palette includes pale blue, cream, seafoam green, and pink.
Prices for the collection range from $14.95 to $134.95, and the line is available in Fabletics' retail stores and through the brand's website. This collaboration marks another step for Malbon Golf, who recently partnered with Gap on a 33-piece collection of men's and women's basics, and agreed on a 33-piece collection of men's and women's sizes with Santa Cruz last month.
Meanwhile, Eastside Golf has taken a step into the women's apparel market, but specific details about their new offerings remain undisclosed. Laurel Deppen wrote an article titled "Eastside Golf steps into women's apparel," but the article does not provide further information about the new line.
In other golf-related news, Tiger Woods and TaylorMade have teamed up to launch a new product called Sun Day Red. The specifics of the product are not yet known, but Caroline Jansen wrote an article titled "Tiger Woods, TaylorMade team up to launch Sun Day Red" for those interested in learning more.
Lastly, Eastside Golf expanded its executive team by hiring its first head of marketing. The details of this new hire are not yet disclosed, but it is an exciting development for the growing golf brand.
