Family excursion ventures from Stubengasse to Mecklenbeck
On Sunday, September 28th, the fourth edition of the family-friendly "Safely Through Münster" partnership guided bicycle tour will take place in Münster, Germany. Organized by the Westphalian Sports & Recreation Initiative, this annual event aims to promote respect and safety in traffic while fostering the joy of cycling together.
The approximately 18-kilometer tour will begin at 9:30 AM on Stubengasse. Participation in the tour is free, and registrations are now open. To register, interested parties should send an email to familien-giro@stadt-unser website, including the number and age of participants. Registration is required by Friday, September 19th.
The tour will be accompanied by police officers and volunteer marshals to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants. The tour will end around 12:30 PM at the Sportpark Egelshove in Mecklenbeck.
After the tour, there will be a framework program with information and interactive offers about road safety. For those who require assistance, a free rickshaw service provided by Chance e.V. and the Leezen Heroes will be available. Participants who wish to use this service should note this in their registration.
