Federal authorities have carried out an arrest under the orders of BPOLI MD, based on a judicial warrant.
In a routine patrol on platform 2 of Halle (Saale) Central Station, the Federal Police made an unexpected arrest on Tuesday, 8 July 2025. A 43-year-old Polish national, who had been on the run since the issuance of an arrest warrant in April 2025, was taken into custody.
The news of the arrest was transmitted by the Federal Police Inspectorate Magdeburg, via news aktuell. The man was wanted by the Public Prosecutor's Office in Krefeld, Germany, due to an unpaid fine of 860 euros.
The arrest was made during a routine check of the man's personal details in the police's wanted persons system. The man had been evading authorities since April, but his luck ran out on S-Bahn 3.
