The 11th edition of the Genzmer-Brücken-Festival is set to take place on Sunday, 7th September 2025, at the picturesque Saale riverbank. This year's event will be a collaborative effort between the WUK Theater Quartier, dedicated local citizens, artists, and cultural associations.

The Genzmer Bridge Festival is an integral part of Halle's cultural theme year "City of Bridges", a celebration that highlights the city's rich history and architectural beauty.

The festival will unfold at the Genzmer Bridge and the Holzplatz, offering a day filled with entertainment, art, and culture for all ages.

This marks the 11th edition of the bridge festival on the Saale, a tradition that has grown in popularity over the years, attracting thousands of visitors each year.

The festival will commence at 1 PM and conclude at 6 PM, providing ample time for everyone to enjoy the various activities on offer. Admission to the Genzmer Bridge Festival will be free, making it an accessible and inclusive event for all.

To officially open the festival, Dr. Judith Marquardt, the Deputy Mayor for Culture and Sports, will deliver a speech, marking the beginning of a day filled with fun and celebration.
