Celebrations Mark Eid Milad-ul-Nabi Across Pakistan

Today, Pakistan is adorned with festive decorations as the nation celebrates Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH), the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). This special day has been declared a public holiday by the government, and the festivities can be seen in every corner of the country.

The federal capital, Islamabad, welcomed the day with a 31 gun salute, while the provincial capitals conducted a 21 gun salute. Roundabouts and streets have been beautifully decorated with lights, adding a radiant touch to the celebrations. Green flags, a symbol of the occasion, can be seen fluttering atop buildings and roundabouts, marking the religious significance of the day.

In the spirit of unity, special prayers were offered after the Fajr prayer, not only in the mosques but also in various public spaces. These prayers were not only for the unity of the Muslim Ummah but also for the progress and prosperity of the country. The prayers aim to strengthen the bond among Muslims and to promote peace and harmony in the nation.

The decorations serve not only as a visual treat but also as a reminder of the importance of this day. They signify the collective joy and devotion of the Pakistani people towards their faith. The celebrations are a testament to the deep-rooted religious values and traditions that the nation holds dear.

As Pakistanis celebrate Eid Milad-ul-Nabi (PBUH), let us remember the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and strive to live by them in our daily lives. May this day bring peace, prosperity, and unity to our nation and the world.

Happy Eid Milad-un-Nabi!
