In a commendable move, the Düsseldorf Banking Association, led by President Karin-Brigitte Göbel, CEO of Stadtsparkasse Düsseldorf, has announced its annual commitment to supporting diverse social and charitable projects in the city.

The association, consisting of 25 private, public, and cooperative banks and credit institutions from the Düsseldorf region, prioritizes small and less publicly exposed projects that significantly improve the quality of life for many people in Düsseldorf.

This year, the funds will be used to provide regular housing for the homeless, offer educational and care services for all generations, and promote the health of socially disadvantaged primary school children. The activities of the supported clubs, organisations, and institutions are active throughout Düsseldorf, benefiting various social areas in the city.

At a recent handover event held at Düsseldorf's Stadtsparkasse main branch, the supported clubs presented their work and the use of the funds. Göbel emphasised the association's commitment to Düsseldorf's location, stating that the association aims to increase the visibility of these projects among their target groups.

In addition to financial support, the Düsseldorf Banking Association also facilitates communication among its members across different association boundaries in the banking sector of Düsseldorf. This collaboration helps to create a more cohesive and supportive community within the city.

While the specific organisations receiving funds from the Düsseldorf Banking Association this year are not publicly available, it is clear that the association's efforts contribute to a more inclusive and caring city for all its residents. The activities of the supported clubs undoubtedly benefit the community, making Düsseldorf a better place to live for many.
