Fire Department in Heusenstamm experiences temporary shutdown for certain services

In the coming weeks, the city of Heusenstamm will be carrying out significant improvements to enhance traffic safety and efficiency. Here's what you need to know:

The city is working on the railway crossing and the firefighter roundabout on Frankfurter Street simultaneously. This combined effort aims to avoid an additional closure this year and minimise inconveniences for residents and road users. The work is expected to be completed by the evening of November 20, when the railway crossing will reopen.

During the construction, several public transport lines will be detoured. These include OF-32, OF-97, X19, and X64, which will be affected until Saturday, November 23. The "Bahnhof" stop in Jahnstraße will serve as a replacement during the detour.

Traffic towards the city center will be detoured via the ring road during the work. However, the lane towards the outskirts will remain open. Pedestrians should expect restrictions until the completion of the work.

To ensure safety and meet current standards, the installation of additional traffic signs is forthcoming. Furthermore, new lighting masts with lamps have been installed at the pedestrian crossing.

It's important to note that the "Herrnstraße", "Wiesenbornweg", and "Ostendstraße" stops will be skipped during the detour. The "Feuerwehrrondell" construction site in Heusenstamm may affect public transport routes passing through the area, potentially causing delays or rerouting for buses and trams serving the location.
