Fire department successfully contained blaze from escalating further at FW Hannover

A residential fire broke out in the Linden-Mitte district of Hannover at a five-story building located in Stephanusstraße. The incident was reported by passersby who noticed smoke coming from two windows of the building.

The Fire Department of Hannover responded promptly to the incident, dispatching a fire engine and the rescue service. To combat the fire, a total of 14 vehicles from the fire department and rescue service, with 40 personnel, were involved. Three breathing apparatus teams and a fire hose were used to fight the blaze, while high-pressure fans were employed to ventilate the building and clear it of smoke.
