Fire in Parking Garage at Hannover-Mühlenberg: Quick Extinguishing of Car Blaze at FW Hannover

A car fire broke out in a parking garage on Canaris Street in Hannover on Friday evening at approximately 20:50. The incident occurred within the same residential complex where a post-fire inspection was conducted by the Hannover Fire Department on Friday evening.

Upon arrival, a leadership team from the Hannover Fire Department noticed smoke coming from a parking garage in the same street. Two teams in breathing apparatus used a fire hose to bring the fire under control and prevent it from spreading further. Approximately 35 firefighters and emergency services personnel were involved in managing the fire.

The car fire affected nine vehicles in the parking garage. Fortunately, no injuries were reported due to the fire. The smoke was determined to be an extensive car fire threatening to spread to other vehicles.

The Hannover Fire Department was able to quickly contain the fire, preventing it from spreading to the rest of the residential complex. The cause of the car fire is not yet known, and the investigation into the incident is being conducted by the police.

After the fire was contained, the scene was handed over to the police for further investigation. The Hannover Fire Department conducted a post-fire inspection on the roof of the residential complex on Canaris Street following the incident. The name of the leadership team present on the rooftop terrace at 8:50 PM is not publicly available.

We hope that this incident serves as a reminder to always exercise caution when dealing with fires and to always prioritise safety. If you witness a fire, please do not hesitate to contact the emergency services immediately.
