Fire at Stollenstraße in Dortmund: Quick Response and Successful Evacuation
The Dortmund Fire Department responded to a basement fire at 4:12 AM on Wednesday in Stollenstraße, Dortmund. Upon arrival, thick smoke was pouring from the basement into the staircase of a multi-family dwelling.

An escalation of the alarm was initiated, and additional fire engines, rescue service units, and personnel from the voluntary fire brigade of fire station 25 (Eving) were dispatched.
The fire in the basement area was quickly extinguished. After subsequent ventilation measures and a follow-up check, the tenants were able to return to their apartments.
