Firefighters found themselves occupied with handling gas, water issues, and a smoke detector down in the basement.

In a series of events over the course of a day, the Dinslaken Fire Department was called out to various incidents in the Eppinghoven and Hiesfeld districts.

The day began with a smoke alarm in the Eppinghoven district at 19:31. A main fire engine, duty fire engine, and turntable ladder were dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, it was discovered that the smoke alarm was triggered by burnt food, and no further action was needed by the fire department.

Later in the evening, the fire department was called out to a flooded basement in Eppinghoven, Rheinaue. The water level in the basement was approximately 20 cm high, and the Dinslaken Fire Department used their dirty water pump to pump out the water. After 60 minutes, the fire department returned to their stations.

However, the incident in the Eppinghoven district was not related to a water pipe burst or a gas leak. In the Hiesfeld district, the fire department was called to a suspected flooded basement, but the water level was too low for their dirty water pump to be effective. The fire department did not find any water issues in the Hiesfeld district.

It is important to note that the incidents in the Eppinghoven and Hiesfeld districts were not related. The search results do not provide information about the current head of the Dinslaken fire department.

In another incident, the Dinslaken Fire Department responded to a residential building on Turmstrasse at 10:45 AM on an unusual odor and suspected gas leak. With the support of Stadtwerke Dinslaken, the fire department determined there was no gas hazard.

For emergencies, the contact information for the Fire Department Dinslaken is: Heiko Reiter, 02064 / 6060-0, [email protected], www.feuerwehr-dinslaken.de.
