Firefighting crew in Urdenbach, Dusseldorf successfully put out a blaze on a tractor
On Wednesday, February 19, at 15:40, the Urdenbach fire department received a distress call regarding a burning tractor on Am Ausleger Street. Upon receiving the call, the fire department quickly mobilised and dispatched their unit to the scene.
Upon arrival, the responding units found the tractor fully engulfed in flames. To extinguish the blaze, multiple hoses were utilised. The fire had already spread to approximately 50 square meters of nearby grassland, but the firefighting unit was able to quickly extinguish the fire to prevent it from spreading to other areas.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident. The incident caused traffic disruptions in the area, but the situation was quickly brought under control.
The cause of the fire remains unknown at this time. The city's environmental department was called in to assess the impact of the fire on the local environment.
