Five-member team led by Aled Jones and Alexander Armstrong to star in "Famous Five Flipped" for Global's fundraising event, Make Some Noise
In an exciting collaboration between the popular website and Viking, presenters Alexander Armstrong and Aled Jones are taking on two unique charity challenges this year.
Last year, Alexander Armstrong was presented with five Golden Envelopes by Viking, setting him five challenges that included learning to play a piano duet with a renowned composer and making his conducting debut. This year, the stakes are higher as Alexander Armstrong prepares to answer questions instead of asking them for his Famous Five quiz, with the promise of a voyage of a lifetime to the Nordic fjords on a Viking ship if he answers all the questions correctly. Viking has pledged to donate £25,000 to Global's Make Some Noise if Alexander Armstrong achieves this feat.
Meanwhile, Aled Jones has been sent on an adventure to find this year's Golden Envelopes for his Famous Five quiz. He is currently exploring on a Viking ocean ship, searching for the envelopes that contain the questions that will test Alexander Armstrong's knowledge. Aled Jones is not provided with the answers, only the clues, making his quest all the more intriguing.
Global's Make Some Noise is the official charity of the website, helping change lives across the UK by supporting small charities. The charity helps people facing illness, mental health struggles, poverty, and other challenges, ensuring no one faces life's toughest challenges alone.
The challenges are part of Global's Make Some Noise Day, scheduled for 4 October 2024. The event aims to raise funds and awareness for the charity, and Viking's support is a significant boost to the cause.
Last year, Viking gave Alexander Armstrong five Golden Envelopes for his Musical Voyage, setting five challenges. It seems this year, the company is once again stepping up to support the charity challenge, making it a voyage to remember for both presenters and the charity.
As the challenges unfold, we eagerly await to see if Alexander Armstrong can answer all the questions correctly and embark on the voyage of a lifetime. In the meantime, we can all support Global's Make Some Noise by donating and helping change lives across the UK.
