Ukrainian Company Unveils Advanced Ballistic Missiles at International Exhibition
At a press conference held at the international MSPO exhibition in Poland, Ukrainian company Fire Point presented the technical specifications of two new ballistic missiles: the FP-7 and the FP-9.
The FP-9 missile, with a range of up to 855 km, boasts a more powerful set of characteristics compared to its predecessor, the FP-7 missile. The FP-7 missile, also developed by Fire Point, has a range of up to 855 km as well.
The FP-9 missile, launched from a ground-based launcher, has a flight time of 520 seconds and a flight altitude of 70 km. It can carry a maximum payload of 800 kg and reaches speeds of up to 2200 m/s. The accuracy of the FP-9 missile is 20 m.
Unfortunately, no details about the air defense systems developed by Fire Point were provided in the press conference. However, it is known that the company, with a Danish subsidiary (FPRT) involved in producing solid rocket fuel for missile boosters, is also involved in developing air defense systems.
The FP-7 missile, one of the two new missiles developed by Fire Point, will also launch from a ground-based launcher. No details about the FP-7 missile's flight time, flight altitude, maximum payload, or accuracy were provided in the press conference.
Fire Point is a Ukrainian company that has developed these advanced ballistic missiles, adding to their portfolio of defence technology. The company's commitment to innovation and progress in the field of defence technology is evident in the development of these new missiles.
The international MSPO exhibition in Poland provided an ideal platform for Fire Point to showcase these new missiles, further highlighting the company's dedication to advancing defence technology and its capabilities in the field.
