Florence's Aquatic Center unveils summer season timetable for the year 2025
The Florence Aquatic Center is gearing up for an action-packed summer, with its 2025 season set to kick off on May 24 at 11 a.m. This year promises to be filled with family fun, community events, and special themed days.
Open weekends after August 10 will also be open, providing ample opportunities for summer enjoyment. The calendar for the season includes a variety of events, such as Military & First Responder Appreciation Days, where our brave service members and first responders can enjoy a well-deserved day of relaxation.
For those considering a membership, Open Houses on June 2 and August 5 offer discounted rates. Admission for Open Houses is $5. During these events, you can also find out more about the upcoming season and ask any questions you might have.
The calendar is packed with exciting activities, including Newport Aquarium Day on July 28, where kids can meet a real penguin and learn about ocean life. Every Wednesday in July, the Aquatic Center will offer 10-pack daily passes as part of their giveaways.
Weekly giveaways will take place in June, with gift cards being offered. Every Tuesday is Freezer Pop Tuesday, and Thursdays are Slush Puppie Days. Special events like National Hot Dog Day and National Vanilla Ice Cream Day are also included in the calendar.
For those looking for a fun night under the stars, mark your calendars for June 7. The Aquatic Center will host a Dive-In Movie Night, featuring Luca in celebration of World Ocean Day. The season will also include Christmas in July, adding a festive touch to the summer months.
