Felix has resumed his activities following years of partial stasis and a visit to Saudi Arabia, putting him back on solid ground once more.

Following numerous pauses and a visit to Saudi Arabia, the gemstone Felix has resumed his active state.

Joao Felix, the fifth most expensive player in history, made a surprising move to Saudi Arabia in late July 2022. This decision, which was met with mixed reactions, has proven to be a productive one for the Portuguese star.

After spending four matches on the bench for Portugal, Felix found himself in a new environment, under the guidance of his former coach, Jorge Jesus, who was appointed at Al-Nassr in July 2025. Jesus, who previously coached Al-Hilal, had expressed his desire to work with Felix when he was at Al-Hilal.

Felix's move was interpreted by many as a surrender, but he has been thriving in Saudi Arabia. In his three official matches with Al-Nassr, he has scored four goals, a testament to his productivity in the kingdom.

Despite his inconsistency, Felix is known for his talent. Pedro Neto, a teammate of Felix at Al-Nassr and a former teammate for six months at Chelsea, believes that if given the opportunity, Felix will flourish. Neto echoes the sentiment of Cristiano Ronaldo, who approves of Felix's move to Saudi Arabia.

Felix's move to Al-Nassr has been his most productive in terms of playing time. He started only one match for Portugal since the beginning of 2023, against Croatia. Roberto Martinez, the Portugal coach, thinks that Felix needs to play more to improve various aspects of his game.

Jorge Jesus believes that the move to Saudi Arabia was the right choice for Felix. He points out that the country, where there is no alcohol and no nightlife, will help Felix focus on his football. This focus seems to be paying off, as Felix hit the post with his penalty at the Euros, despite only playing 15 minutes, the second half of extra time against the Blues.

Despite the challenges he has faced, Felix remains determined. His move to Al-Nassr marks a new chapter in his career, one filled with opportunities for growth and success. As he continues to adapt to his new environment, fans and critics alike will be watching closely to see how this talented player continues to evolve.
