In a historic moment, football icon Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 100th goal for his fourth different club, Al Nassr, on August 24, 2023, at the Hong Kong Stadium. This milestone comes after joining the Saudi Arabian club at the end of 2022.

The Saudi Super Cup final, where Ronaldo found the back of the net twice, ended in a 2-2 draw against Al Ahli. Although Al Nassr couldn't secure the win in regulation time, they managed to triumph in the subsequent penalty shootout.

Ronaldo's first goal came after 41 minutes, and his second was a penalty kick. However, the Saudi Super Cup has been a source of disappointment for Ronaldo, as he has lost the final in the previous two years to Al Hilal.

Despite these losses, Ronaldo maintains a positive record in finals, having won 25 titles and losing 12. This impressive tally places him ahead of many legendary players, including Isidro Langar, Romario, and Neymar, who have all scored 100 goals for four different clubs but have not surpassed Ronaldo's 25 titles in finals.

Meanwhile, Lionel Messi, Ronaldo's long-time rival, holds an even more impressive record in finals. Messi is the all-time top scorer in finals, with 35 goals across single matches and two-leg series. Moreover, Messi has never lost any club finals in a row, a feat that has eluded Ronaldo.

Messi's record in finals at the club and international level is equally impressive, with 43 wins compared to Ronaldo's 25. It is worth noting that Messi has won more finals overall compared to Ronaldo, with 31 wins and only 12 losses.

Ronaldo holds the world record for most goals with a national team, with 138 goals for Portugal. Yet, when it comes to international finals, Messi has faced setbacks, having lost two back-to-back finals with his country's national team.

In his career, Ronaldo has competed in 37 finals across clubs and national team competitions, scoring 25 goals. Despite his success with Real Madrid, Manchester United, Juventus, and now Al Nassr, Ronaldo's quest for continual success in finals continues.
