Forest Retreats in Germany
Join us for an enlightening day at Aschaffenburg's Fasanerie on September 20th, as we participate in the nationwide German Forest Days. This annual event, taking place on the third weekend of September, is an opportunity for dialogue and engagement on various forest topics.
The city of Aschaffenburg and the Office of Food, Agriculture, and Forestry in Karlstadt are hosting guided tours in Aschaffenburg's Fasanerie. The tours will meet at the Fasanerie playground and will take place from 10 am to 4 pm. No registration is needed for these guided tours.
The tours will be led by experienced foresters and external experts, who will guide you through one-hour sessions on topics such as "Forest and Recreation", "Forest and Nature Conservation", and "Forest and Climate". The tour times are 10 - 11 am, 12 - 1 pm, and 2 - 3 pm respectively.
After the tours, participants are invited to exchange ideas over coffee, tea, or cold drinks. A children's program supported by the LBV and information stands will complement the tours, making it a day suitable for all ages.
The German Forest Days are supported by selected partners and aim to promote knowledge and understanding about forests. The initiative for the German Forest Days comes from the Federal Ministry of Food, Agriculture, and Homeland (BMLH).
For more information, please visit the German Forest Days website at www.deutsche-waldtage.de/hintergrundinformationen. The German Forest Days serve as a platform to visually convey knowledge, create acceptance, and engage in dialogue on various forest topics, making it an event not to be missed.
We look forward to seeing you at Aschaffenburg's Fasanerie on September 20th for an enlightening day filled with forest-related discussions and activities.
