Four Houthi ministers still alive, according to the report
In a significant development, the Israeli Air Force (IAF) carried out a strike on a facility hosting senior officials of the Houthi terrorist regime in Yemen. The targeted facility, located in Sana'a, was reportedly a hub for key decision-makers responsible for the use of force, military buildup, and terror actions against Israel.
The strike, which was made possible by seizing an intelligence opportunity and completing a rapid operational cycle, resulted in the death of several high-ranking Houthi officials. Among those killed was the Transportation Minister and the Prime Minister, Ahmed al-Rahawi. The Houthi Defense Minister, Mohammad Nasser Al-Aatfi, was severely injured.
Other key senior Houthi officials were also present at the targeted facility, including the Chief of Staff, Abd al-Karim al-Ghamari, who was wounded in attacks outside Sanaa. The Ministers of Economy, Industry and Investment, Defense and Security, Local Administration, Interior, Social Affairs and Labor, Justice, and Youth and Sports were also among the casualties.
The assessment of the strike's results is ongoing, including verification of the presence of additional senior military commanders. After the killing of Prime Minister al-Rahawi, Mohammed Ahmed Muftah was appointed as the acting Prime Minister to lead government affairs.
The Houthi regime has not yet issued a formal statement regarding the strike, but the international community is closely monitoring the situation in Yemen. The strike is a clear indication of the ongoing tensions between Israel and the Houthi regime, and it underscores the need for a peaceful resolution to the conflict.
