Foursomes and Singles Matches Schedule for First Day of Walker Cup

The 50th Walker Cup is underway at the prestigious Cypress Point, with both the Great Britain & Ireland (GB&I) and USA teams ready to face off in a series of foursomes and singles matches.

In the first foursomes match of Saturday, Connor Graham and Tyler Weaving will represent GB&I against Jackson Koivun and Tommy Morrison at 11:00am/4:00pm ET. On the other side, Luke Poulter and Charlie Forster will square off against Ben James and Stewart Hagestad in the second foursomes match at 11:15am/4:15pm ET. The final foursomes match of the morning session will see Cameron Adam and Dominic Clemons take on Jase Summy and Michael La Sasso at 11:45am/4:45pm ET. Stuart Grehan and Eliot Baker will play against Preston Stout and Ethan Fang in one of the final foursomes matches at 11:30am/4:30pm ET, and Cameron Adam and Dominic Clemons will face Michael La Sasso and Jase Summy in another match at the same time.

Following the foursomes, there will be eight singles matches in the afternoon. The first singles match of the afternoon session will be Tyler Weaver against Jackson Koivun at 4:45pm/9:45pm ET. Connor Graham will play against Ben James in the fourth singles match at 5:15pm/10:15pm ET. Luke Poulter will face Mason Howell in the third singles match at 5:05pm/10:05pm ET. Stuart Grehan will play against Ethan Fang in the sixth singles match at 5:35pm/10:35pm ET, and Gavin Tiernan will take on Stewart Hagestad in the fifth singles match at 5:25pm/10:25pm ET. The afternoon session will conclude with Niall Shiels Donegan playing against Jacob Modleski at 4:55pm/9:55pm ET, and Eliot Baker will face Jase Summy in the eighth singles match at 5:55pm/10:55pm ET.

Dean Robertson captains the GB&I team, while Nathan Smith leads the USA team. The players selected by Great Britain & Ireland for the Sunday singles matches include Tyler Weaver, Cameron Adam, Dominic Clemons, Connor Graham, Eliot Baker, Charlie Forster, Stuart Grehan, Luke Poulter, Niall Shiels Donegan, and Gavin Tiernan.
