Fox News Host Accuses Newsom of Adopting Trump's Presentation, to Which Newsom Responds Aptly with Four Words
California Governor Gavin Newsom has been vocal about his disapproval of certain political statements and policies, particularly those of the current president. In an interview with MeidasTouch Network's Adam Mockler last month, Newsom explained that his public trolling and imitation of the president is not meant to mimic the president's style, but to highlight the nonsensical nature of his statements.
Newsom is concerned about the state of the country, as the president often acts like a child, and Fox News personalities seem to weaponize his grievances and attack vulnerable people. In September 2025, Newsom took to his Twitter account to criticize a prominent Fox News personality in response to their controversial remarks about California's policies.
This is not the first time Newsom has spoken out against the president on social media. In a post on his office account, formerly on Twitter, he responded to a question about Trump policies, stating they are "trash."
Recently, Newsom also addressed Fox News personality Jesse Watters, stating that Watters doesn't understand the issues at hand. This exchange was reported by HuffPost.
Governor Newsom's public criticism of the president and his policies continues to generate discussion and debate, as he seeks to bring attention to the issues that matter most to Californians and Americans alike.
