Free two-day pedelec workshop for senior citizens in Voerde, organized by Wesel County Police, Wesel
The Circular Police Department in Wesel, Germany, has announced a two-day training seminar titled "Pedelec VOERDE" for a specific group of pedelec riders who are at risk in road traffic. The seminar, organized by the traffic accident prevention team, is aimed at reducing traffic accidents involving cyclists and pedelec riders in the district of Wesel.
The training, which will be held in September 2025 at the SV Friedrichsfeld sports facility in Voerde, is focused on a specific age group, 65+, who are particularly at risk in road traffic. The demand for training, particularly for this age group, is high in Wesel.
The intensive training course, lasting over two days with a time interval to reinforce learned behavioral patterns, will provide participants with essential skills and knowledge to ensure their safety on the roads. It is mandatory for participants to attend both days of the training.
