French regional broadcaster France 3 Corse modernizes its playout system with the adoption of Pebble.

In a remarkable achievement, Pebble has successfully implemented a two-channel integrated playout solution for France 3 Corse, the Corsican station of France Televisions. The project, which saw the collaboration between Pebble and France Televisions, was completed in just two months thanks to the local knowledge and cultural understanding that Pebble brought to the table.

Manuel Brouard, Solutions Architect Manager at Pebble, commented on the project, praising the key role that local knowledge and market understanding played in reaching a great solution. With a team of French-speaking staff, Pebble was able to provide a precisely tailored solution to France 3 Corse.

The new playout solution provided by Pebble includes the Pebble Automation and the Pebble Integrated Channel playout engine. To ensure complete resilience for the station's two channels, France 3 Corse and Via Stella, Pebble replicated the media database, automation, and video servers across two physical devices. The media database, automation, and video servers were duplicated for the two channels to ensure data redundancy.

Existing workflows for France 3 Corse were supported, and new functionality was added. Pebble integrated its playout-in-a-box solution, combining Pebble Automation and the Pebble Integrated Channel playout engine in a single server for France 3 Corse. The new playout system aims to replace France 3 Corse's existing playout system that has reached end-of-life status.

To further enhance the resilience of the system, the two channels, France 3 Corse and Via Stella, were equipped with redundant systems. The quick implementation, including workflow development and training, was another remarkable achievement of the project.

Unfortunately, the search results do not provide information about the French-speaking employees involved in the deployment and training phase for France 3 Corse. Despite this, the project serves as a testament to Pebble's commitment to providing tailored solutions and delivering high-quality results in a short timeframe.
