Frequent injuries experienced by ex-French footballer, Vincent Koziello, shock spectators: "He wept openly on the field, causing a stir among all present"

In a surprising turn of events, Vincent Koziello, the 29-year-old midfielder, sustained a rupture of his Achilles tendon during the filming of the documentary "The Club of the Unclubbed, a Summer to Sign". The injury occurred during a friendly match against Rouen, leaving everyone associated with UNFP FC in shock.

Koziello, who was in tears on the field, has been candid about his feelings and his unconventional career. He shares in the documentary that he's at peace with his unique journey and believes he's a better player now than when he was at Nice. His career has been marked by stints with FC Cologne, clubs in Belgium, Portugal, and even Nepal's Kathmandu RayZRs FC.

The national team that offered Koziello a commitment during the documentary was none other than the French national team. Interestingly, an ambitious National club had also shown interest in signing him before his injury. However, clubs have expressed reservations about Koziello's physical condition, questioning if he's fit to play a whole season.

Samuel Allegro, the director of UNFP FC stage, had an emotional exchange with Koziello following the injury. He referred to the injury as a "dark cloud" that has affected the entire UNFP FC group.

Despite the setback, Koziello joined UNFP FC at the end of his contract this summer. His last season with OGC Nice in 2016 was noteworthy, earning him a nomination for the UNFP trophies in the "L1 Best Hope" category.

However, Koziello is still without a contract after the injury. His experiences in Nepal might seem surprising, but he explains in the documentary that he didn't receive any other offers.

As Koziello navigates his recovery, the footballing world waits with bated breath to see where his journey takes him next.
