Funding of $20 Million Secured for Employment Matching Online Service
Paraform, a revolutionary hiring marketplace, has announced that it has secured $20 million in Series A funding, led by Felicis. This funding round saw participation from A*, BOND, Liquid 2, and notable angels including the co-founders of Canva, Instacart, YouTube, and xAI, along with Shyam Sankar, Harley Finklestein, Mark Pincus, and others.
Paraform is a platform that empowers a marketplace of elite recruiters with modern tools and AI. The platform uses AI to enhance, not replace, the judgment of its recruiters. John Kim, CEO and co-founder of Paraform, believes that highly skilled recruiters will become increasingly important in the new era of AI.
Recruiters on Paraform can focus on relationship building, talent advocacy, and closing hires, while also benefiting from AI-based candidate relationship management, call transcription, sourcing tools, and workflow automations. This allows them to streamline busywork, freeing up time to focus on what drives results.
Paraform addresses the issue of AI tools overlooking what truly matters in hiring, such as assessing soft skills, predicting team dynamics, and evaluating a candidate's long-term value. The platform places 10x talent much faster by empowering a marketplace of elite recruiters with modern tools and AI.
Jason Rumney, founder and CEO of Intelletec Group and a top recruiter on Paraform, emphasizes that Paraform helps recruiters focus on building relationships and closing critical hires. Recruiters on Paraform earn three to five times more than they would in traditional agency or in-house roles.
Large enterprises like Palantir and fast-growing companies including Cursor, Windsurf, Decagon, and Hightouch use Paraform to connect with expert recruiters and fill challenging roles. The funds will be used to scale the platform, deepen product development, and expand the global community of recruiters.
According to Peter Deng, General Partner at Felicis, the Paraform network compounds in intelligence, improving candidate matching, interview efficiency, and recruiter-role fit. He states that Paraform delivers vetted candidates quickly and utilizes tools that surface better-aligned candidates and expedite hiring decisions.
With this new funding, Paraform's total funding now stands at $25 million after this round. The company's unique approach to hiring is set to disrupt the recruitment industry, making it easier for businesses to find the best talent and for recruiters to focus on what they do best – building relationships and making great hires.
