Gambling platform FanDuel appoints former National Council on Problem Gambling CEO, Keith Whyte, as their Responsible Gaming Strategic Advisor.

FanDuel, the popular online sports betting platform, has announced the appointment of Keith Whyte as its Responsible Gaming Strategic Advisor. With over three decades of experience in the responsible gaming sector, Whyte is expected to significantly strengthen FanDuel's Responsible Gaming team and contribute to the company's ongoing initiatives.

Cory Fox, senior vice president of public policy & sustainability at FanDuel, welcomed Whyte to the company. Fox expressed excitement about the new addition, stating that Whyte's extensive experience and subject matter knowledge would be instrumental in bolstering FanDuel's existing Responsible Gaming (RG) initiatives.

Whyte, the founder and president of Safer Gambling Strategies, spent 25 years as the executive director of the National Council on Problem Gambling. He is renowned for his work in promoting safer gambling and advancing RG partnerships.

In his new role, Whyte will provide advice on new content for FanDuel's Trusted Voices: Conversations About Betting program. This joint initiative with EPIC Global Solutions and FanDuel RG ambassadors Randy Livingston and Anita Ondine Smith aims to educate parents, guardians, and educators on how to communicate the risks of gambling to kids and young people.

Moreover, Whyte will develop events to foster a culture of responsible gaming within FanDuel. He will seek new opportunities to promote safer gambling and advance RG partnerships, aligning with FanDuel's commitment to elevating the industry standard for Responsible Gaming.

Keith Whyte expressed his satisfaction about joining FanDuel, praising the company for its commitment to responsible gambling and proactive approach. He also expressed his eagerness to work with the team and contribute to FanDuel's ongoing RG efforts.

Flutter Entertainment, FanDuel's parent company, is considering launching the brand in Nevada. The planned joining date of Keith Whyte at Flutter Entertainment is not publicly specified.
