Ganesh Chaturthi 2025: Salman Khan and His Family Say Farewell to Ganpati Bappa, Surrounded by Drums and Dance

In a heartwarming display of tradition and celebration, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan marked Ganesh Chaturthi with his family and close friends. The actor, known for his love for the festival, returned as the host of the popular reality show 'Bigg Boss' for its 19th season.

The video shared by Salman Khan on his official Instagram handle, captioned "Ganpati Bappa Morya," offers a glimpse into the festivities. The clip shows Salman Khan, along with his father Salim Khan, mother Salma Khan, brothers Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan, sisters Arpita Khan and Alvira Khan Agnihotri, brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri, Aayush Sharma, niece Alizeh Agnihotri, nephew Ayaan Agnihotri, Riteish Deshmukh, Genelia Deshmukh, and their kids, performing an aarti in front of a beautiful idol of Lord Ganpati.

Salman Khan was seen joyfully dancing to the beats of the dhol during the procession, adding a lively spirit to the celebrations. His sisters Arpita and Alvira were seen carrying the smaller idol, while Salman himself was captured dancing while carrying his niece. The video also shows the Khan clan dancing during the procession, dressed in western outfits.

The 'Ek Tha Tiger' actor was seen in a simple T-shirt and jeans at the visarjan, bidding goodbye to Lord Ganesha on Sunday. The video was posted on his official Instagram handle on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the latest season of 'Bigg Boss' has so far failed to garner the same level of attention as its predecessors. The contestants in the current house include Gaurav Khanna, Amaal Mallik, Awez Darbar, Ashnoor Kaur, Mridul Tiwari, Nagma Mirajkar, Kunickaa Sadanand, Baseer Ali, Abhishek Bajaj, Tanya Mittal, Zeishan Quadri, Nehal Chudasama, Natalia Janoszek, Pranit More, Farhana Bhatt, and Neelam Giri.

As Salman Khan continues to entertain audiences on-screen and off, fans eagerly await the upcoming episodes of 'Bigg Boss' and the actor's future endeavours.
