In a concerning turn of events, several burglaries have been reported across the region over the past few days. Here's a roundup of the incidents as reported by local authorities.

On the evening of December 10, between 8:25 PM and 8:35 PM, neighbors in Meerbusch heard suspicious noises coming from a single-family house on Kaldenberg. Unknown individuals had smashed the glazing of a terrace door with a stone and opened the door, but they left the scene before the first patrol cars arrived.

In a similar incident, burglars forced open the kitchen window of a terraced house on Erlenstraße in Grevenbroich between 2:20 PM and 6:00 PM on the same day. However, they left the house without taking anything.

Unknown individuals made off with jewelry from a single-family house on Keplerstraße in Kaarst between December 10, 5:45 PM, and December 11, 1:00 AM. The burglars initially failed to force open two sliding doors but gained entry through a basement window.

On December 9, burglars targeted a multi-family house on "Im Oberfeld" street in Neuss. They used a lever tool to gain access to a ground-floor apartment and searched the rooms for valuable items. However, it was not yet determined if anything was stolen at the time of the crime scene investigation.

In another incident on the same street, burglars forced open the terrace door of a terraced house between 2:30 PM and 6:45 PM on December 10. The house was left empty by the perpetrators.

On Jülicher Straße in Grevenbroich, a terraced house was burglarized between shortly after 8:00 AM and midnight on December 10. No information is available on the possible loot.
