Gathering in Lüdenscheid, Bautz Festival records highest attendance once more
The Bautz Festival, a celebrated event in the region, continued to grow in popularity and significance in 2025. Held at Nattenberg on August 22/23, the festival marked a milestone with the inauguration of the new Schlager stage.
The festival kicked off on Friday with Olaf the Flipper taking centre stage on the new addition. Over 10,000 music lovers were present, setting a record for the open-air event. The performance by Olaf the Flipper not only marked the inauguration of the new Schlager stage but also set a new record for the most people singing along to a single act at the Bautz Festival.
As a last-minute replacement for Mando Diao, H-Blockx delivered a performance that was well-received by the enthusiastic crowd. The variety of music genres at the festival was evident, with the Schlager stage catering to the tastes of many.
The following day, Saturday, saw nearly 11,000 people attend the Bautz Festival, setting another record. The Alma de Mallorca stage played host to Lorenz Büffel in the evening, providing a fitting end to the day's proceedings.
In total, over 20,000 people attended the Bautz Festival across its two days in 2025, setting a new record for the event. The Bautz Festival, with its diverse range of music genres and growing popularity, continues to be a significant event in the region.
