New Audi Q6 Sportback e-tron Expands Electric SUV Range

Audi has announced the arrival of its latest electric SUV, the Q6 Sportback e-tron, with orders now being taken and deliveries expected to begin soon at Audi dealers nationwide. The Q6 Sportback e-tron range offers three variants: the entry Q6 Sportback, the Q6 Sportback quattro, and the top-of-the-line SQ6 Sportback.

The Q6 Sportback, priced from $99,900 before on-road costs, features a single motor producing up to 215kW and 450Nm. The Q6 Sportback quattro, on the other hand, adds dual motors for all-wheel drive, generating 285kW and 580Nm to the rear axle and 275Nm to the front. The SQ6 Sportback delivers a powerful 380kW, enabling a 0-100km/h sprint in just 4.3 seconds.

Audi's 800-volt electrical system and advanced thermal management allow rapid recharging. Under ideal conditions, the high-voltage battery can be replenished from 10 to 80% in just 21 minutes. This rapid charging capability, combined with a sleek body and a low drag coefficient of 0.26, delivers up to 585km of range (WLTP).

The Q6 Sportback e-tron range comes equipped with Audi's latest driver assistance package. The package includes adaptive cruise control, 360-degree cameras, lane support, and emergency assist. The SQ6 Sportback also includes additional features such as fine Nappa leather sport seats with a massage function, an augmented reality head-up display, adaptive air suspension, S-specific bodywork, 21-inch Audi Sport wheels, red brake callipers, OLED tail-lights, and a Bang & Olufsen 3D premium audio system.

Buyers receive a five-year warranty, eight-year/160,000km battery coverage, and six years of roadside assistance. The Q6 Sportback e-tron has recently achieved a 5-star ANCAP rating, further assuring buyers of its safety and quality.

The manufacturing of the Audi Q6 Sportback e-tron will be handled by Audi, with deliveries expected to begin in 2025. While specific details about the production location are not explicitly stated, Audi typically manufactures its electric models in its established production facilities in Europe.

The new Audi Q6 Sportback e-tron is set to expand Audi's electric SUV range, offering consumers a range of options to suit their needs and preferences. With its powerful performance, rapid charging capabilities, and advanced features, the Q6 Sportback e-tron is poised to make a significant impact in the electric vehicle market.
