German communications agency Looping Group extends operations into the UK post BMW hire

BMW has consolidated its agency roster by forming a new specialized unit called The Game Group. The group, which was established in April, is now comprised of four agencies: Jung von Matt, Liganova GMBH, Looping Group, and liganova GMBH.

Jung von Matt, an advertising agency based in Germany, and Liganova GMBH, an experiential marketing agency, have joined forces with Looping Group to support BMW's digital marketing communications. Looping Group, a communications and production company with offices in Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, and London, has been appointed to handle digital marketing communications for BMW.

Looping Group will also develop the brand's PR and social media under The Game Group. Their work will focus on digital marketing communications, as part of BMW's efforts to streamline its marketing communications.

Jung von Matt will handle above-the-line marketing for BMW under The Game Group, while Liganova GMBH will oversee experiential activity for the brand. The addition of these two agencies expands The Game Group's geographical reach, as both Jung von Matt and liganova GMBH are based in Germany.
