Ghislaine Maxwell's meetings with the Deputy Attorney General yielded no damaging details about influential figures connected with Jeffrey Epstein, as per the transcripts.

Ghislaine Maxwell, the Oxford-educated daughter of the late publishing baron Robert Maxwell, has denied any involvement in the criminal activities of her former associate, Jeffrey Epstein. In a two-day interview with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche in July 2021, Maxwell maintained her innocence and claimed she was wrongly accused.

Maxwell, currently serving a 20-year prison sentence for aiding and participating in Epstein's trafficking of underage girls, stated that President Clinton was not Epstein's friend and that Clinton had no particular interest in Epstein other than having the use of his plane. She added that Clinton had never been to Epstein's private U.S. Virgin Islands estate, Little St. James.

Maxwell also claimed that during her time with Epstein, she never witnessed nor heard of any inappropriate or criminal activity by President Donald Trump, former President Bill Clinton, nor any of the well-known men who associated with Epstein. She told Blanche that she had a friendship with Clinton after being introduced by a mutual acquaintance.

Maxwell expressed admiration for President Trump in her interview, describing him as a "gentleman in all respects," and Clinton as a "fantastic ex-president." She suggested that Clinton allowed the use of Epstein's private jumbo-jet to fly to multiple international destinations after the end of his presidency.

Maxwell also claimed that there was no client list, no blackmail scheme, and no high-profile Epstein associates who committed illicit acts in connection with Epstein's crimes. She told Blanche that she only saw Trump and Epstein together in social settings and never saw or heard anything inappropriate about Trump while he was with Epstein.

In the interview, Maxwell was asked about "one hundred different people" and in each instance, she indicated that she had never witnessed nor heard about any alleged wrongdoing. The Department of Justice announced that a "systematic review" revealed no incriminating client list and no evidence "that could predicate an investigation into uncharged third parties."

Maxwell's attorney, David Oscar Markus, stated that Maxwell "is innocent and never should have been tried, much less convicted, in this case." The unusual meeting involving Maxwell and Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche evoked a strong response from some victims of Epstein and Maxwell.

Epstein was arrested in July 2019 and charged in a federal indictment with conspiracy and child sex trafficking. He died in custody a month later, while awaiting trial. His death was ruled a suicide by hanging. Maxwell maintains that she did not receive a fair trial and was wrongly accused.

Maxwell relocated to New York looking for a fresh start and was soon seen in the company of the mysterious multimillionaire Epstein. The details of her involvement with Epstein and his crimes continue to be a subject of investigation and debate.
